Weekend trip to Devon
16 excited people from many different countries, including Japan, Brazil, Italy, Ukraine, Korea and Turkey met The English Bus for our 2 day trip to DEVON! Devon is a beautiful area of South West England.
We left London at 9am on Saturday morning and began our trip on The English Bus. The trip to Devon took 4 hours but after 2 hours we stopped to visit the famous STONEHENGE!

We spent an hour walking around the ancient rocks and then continued our journey to Devon. We were staying in a real English family house, far away from any cities or towns, in the middle of the countryside! When we arrived there was a traditional English barbecue waiting for us, so lots of sausages, burgers, chicken and salad! We walked around the huge garden and played with the dogs!
After filling our stomachs with the delicious barbecue we got back on the bus and went onto Dartmoor, a very special and famous National Park. There we went for a walk and climbed a very big rock!

At the top of the rock all of us posed for a group picture!

We went back to the house and had dinner, prepared by a very friendly English lady! After dinner we got back on to the bus and we went to a very traditional English PUB!! The pub is very, very old, about 500 years old!

After the pub we looked at the beautiful stars in the very black night sky then we went home. The girls were sleeping on the floor in the house and the boys were camping in the garden!
The next morning we had a relaxed morning and left at about 11am to go to the BEACH! Yes, a nice beach in England!!

Some brave people went swimming, most of us relaxed, had a picnic lunch and then we played volleyball together!

At about 4 o'clock it was unfortunately time to go home. Happy because the weekend was fantastic, but sad that we had to go home. SO we all got on the bus and arrived back in central London at 8.30pm

A great weekend!!
