A day out to the stunning Belgian city of Bruges! Please ensure you have a valid passport or travel visa (if your nationality requires)!
Join us on a wonderful tour to the UNESCO world heritage city of Bruges.
Getting to Bruges is half the fun, a mini adventure through England, under the sea to France then into Belgium , all the way with a guided commentary from your driver/guide.
On arrival in Bruges we'll have plenty of time to explore this city, visit the stunning sights of Bruges - perhaps the Markt - the main market area - climb the 13th century belltower for amazing panoramic views of the city, the Basilica of the Holy Blood - see a phial supposedly containing a few drops of Jesus' blood, the Groeningemuseum - Bruges' most celebrated art gallery or a tour of the Half Moon brewery? See the city on foot, by canal boat or on a horse-drawn carriage tour?!
This UNESCO world heritage city is a must see for visitors to Europe, a great city to explore on foot and sample some Belgian delights - fantastic food, incredible Belgian chocolate and delicious Belgian beer amongst others!
Known as "The Venice of the North", Bruges is a stunning UNESCO world heritage city and offers the kind of charms rarely found elsewhere. Bruges is in part of the Dutch speaking Northern Belgium and is a postcard perfect stop on any trip to Europe.
Canals, chocolate shops, Belgian beer houses make this city fantastic to visit at any time of the year, in the spring and summer we can make the most of the (hopefully!) good weather when the city comes alive!
We leave at 8am and begin our trip to Belgium, driving south out of London to Folkestone where we take the Channel Tunnel under the sea to France. Then on to Bruges! Don't forget your valid passport and travel visa (if your nationality requires one)
On arrival in Bruges you can begin exploring the wonderful historic Belgian city! You can explore the city at your own leisure but for those who want to join, we'll take a FREE guided tour of this wonderful Belgian city.
After spending the whole afternoon exploring Bruges, hopefully full of chocolate, beer and mussels we'll head back to London, driving through Belgium and France and taking the channel tunnel over to England.
We'll arrive back in London at approximately 9.30pm
